Stained Glass Window Frames
Frame Replacement
Maintain the Design...
                  Preserve the Stained Glass

When it comes to replacing stained glass window frames, aluminum frames are the
ideal alternative to costly wood frame replication. These highly versatile frames
can be built to duplicate the design and configuration of the original frame, and are specifically designed to house both stained glass and insulated glass in the same unit.

Another unique feature is the ability to
access and remove either the stained or insulated glass for maintenance without disturbing the other panel.

Planning Ahead for Future Stained Glass

Because standard commercial frames require expensive modifications to add stained glass, our specialized frames not only house insulated glass, but also come with a channel already in place for installation of stained glass at any time.

These frames also come with an optional
"cap bead" which conceals the stained glass track until the new windows are installed.
If you plan to install stained glass in the future, this frame is a cost effective solution that  saves time and money.

Advantages of Specialized Frame Systems

Energy Considerations: With the advancements in the frame and glass industry, energy efficient LoE insulated glass is now available for stained glass applications. This thermally improved frame, combined with LoE insulated glass, offers optimum energy efficiency, saving you money.

Quality: All frames are designed, pre-engineered and fabricated for each application and time proven for durability. All frames are heliarc welded, which makes them more durable than most standard commercial frames. The unitized welded construction also decreases job site labor costs.

Design Flexibility: The versatility of the bendable, welded frames allows for complete design flexibility. Nearly any combination of square, circle, gothic or roman design elements and several color choices can be combined to provide unlimited possibilities.

Future Stained Glass: Although most churches plan on stained glass, it is often excluded from initial building plans. By installing frames that are specially designed for stained glass during new construction, additional costs of future modifications can be avoided. The frames are ready for stained glass to be installed at any time.

Frame Replacement: When it comes to replacing existing frames, these frames are the ideal alternative to costly wood frame replication. Because the frames are custom designed and fabricated, they can duplicated the design of the original frames. They also house both insulated and stained glass in the same unit, removing the need to add exterior protective glass in the future.

Configuration: Because there are
five different frame series available,
any project from single glaze exterior
frames to 6" steel reinforced, thermal break frames can be completed. Interchangeable configurations allow
us to meet even the most demanding
job requirements.
